Once I buy a My Zombie Insurance plan, how long before my policy is effective? We will send out all your necessary insurance information (insurance card, policy, etc.) within 48 hours, at which time your policy is active.

Can I cancel my policy? We do not get very many cancellations, since the policy is active for your lifetime and there is only a one-time charge. However, yes, you can technically cancel coverage.

What are my payment options? For your convenience, you may use a credit card, debit card, or pay by check. We use PayPal for your ease and convenience — you do not have to create an account with them to purchase a zombie insurance plan.

Is there a list of service companies I can use? You have the freedom to enlist the services of any licensed repair service worldwide.

How does my repair service receive payment? You pay your service provider directly at the time of service, then submit the claim to us. We then adjust your claim and provide reimbursement to you.

How does the deductible work? In the event of a zombie-related attack or incident that results in damage to your physical property, you simply submit your claim after having the repair work done. There is no deductible under our insurance plans.

Does my policy cover my personal health? Our plans only cover zombie-related attacks that result in damage to your physical property — such as your house, car, iPod, comic book and/or Cosmopolitan collections, Star Wars DVDs, and all your other stuff that your regular insurance companies don't cover in the event of a zombie attack. Not to worry though, your health insurance will cover any injuries you may incur from a zombie (just tell them it was a living person).

Does my policy cover pre-existing conditions? If your iPod was already broken or your roof was already torn off prior to getting your MyZombieInsurance.com policy, then that is considered pre-existing and not covered under your policy.
